dotNuxx F.A.Q.

Starting in late 1999 in Red Deer, AB dotNuxx Recordings went through many phases releasing on cassettes and CDRs until 2006. When it went under some majour changes, mostly in name, rebranding as Cuban Missile Crisis, and started the task of putting on shows as well as doing promotions work. this proved to much for the small label and almost put it into bankruptcy. Mid December 2007 launched a new beginning in the arctic tundra of Edmonton, Ab as James Renick rekindled is love for releasing music, and brought back the always ambiguous dotNuxx Recordings. The always ambitious but never quite well funded recording studio/record label decided to kick off its new year with a small sampler of songs recorded over 2007 at venues and rehearsal spaces. And hopes to continue to release small scale cassette and CDR as well as putting out limited edition Vinyl. All releases from dotNuxx Recordings are licensed under creative commons and are free to share. Some releases the label has felt so strongly about that it has dedicated them to the public domain.
